This is an unprecedented style of commission aimed at creating opportunity and equity for programs who do not have standard big band instrumentation and who encourage non-traditional instruments (which is key to getting more girls and nonbinary students involved)

• • The base: Medium Grade piece (comes with solo sheets, standard big band)

  • Additional advanced level that will include an additional shout chorus.

  • Lead sheet version of the piece for Eb, Bb, F, Concert, etc.

  • Easy version of the lead sheets for lower levels.

  • 3-horn arrangement that will allow for different configurations with alternate parts
